My friends say that I make them laugh until they cry, but then again, I think of myself as a tough city girl, when all my friends see is pure southern American. I love history, but promise not to make your eyes glaze over with discussions. I began visiting Ireland several years ago & have to be dragged out at the end of every visit. I have discovered a love of Irish history, made it part of my work and in the process, Ireland has become part of me. I visit often and want to relocate there and teach one day. I've lived in NYC for almost 26 years & it has been great. Now I hope that I'll be fortunate enough for the next 26 years to play out at a different pace in Ireland.
